GTA 6 Extended Look: date, times and where to watch
Rockstar has announced Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look, premiering on Netflix on Thursday 27 August and arriving free on YouTube six hours later. Everything below is from Rockstar's own announcement.
The two times, and why there are two
Rockstar is doing this in two stages on the same day. Netflix gets it first at 3pm ET. It then goes up on Rockstar's YouTube channel and the official GTA VI site at 9pm ET, six hours later. If you do not have Netflix you are waiting until the evening, not until another day.

What Rockstar actually said
It is not called Trailer 3
The official title is Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look. Rockstar has never confirmed that a third numbered trailer exists, and this announcement does not use that word. Whether it functions as one is a fair argument, but the name is not ours to change.
The release date did not move
The same announcement restates 19 November 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A lot of people expected this week's news to be a delay, because both previous delays were announced around Take-Two earnings calls and there is one on 7 August. It was not.
No runtime was given
Rockstar has not said how long the Extended Look is, and has not described its contents. Anything you read claiming a runtime or a shot list is not sourced from Rockstar.
