Who we are
ProgressBar (progressbar.gg) is a fan-made completion tracker and information resource for Grand Theft Auto games. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc., or any of their subsidiaries or partners. "Grand Theft Auto", "GTA", and all related titles, logos, characters, and imagery are trademarks and copyrights of their respective owners.
How we use game material
Any Rockstar or Take-Two imagery, trailers, or trademarks that appear on this site are used in a limited, editorial, fan-commentary context to identify and discuss the games. Trailers are embedded directly from Rockstar's official channels and are never rehosted. Every image asset is credited to its official source. We do not host, link to, or reproduce leaked, datamined, or otherwise unauthorized content, ever. Factual information is drawn only from official sources: Rockstar Newswire, official trailers, and Take-Two communications.
Our role
Where users submit content (for example, feedback), ProgressBar acts as a neutral intermediary host. We do not pre-screen user submissions but will remove any material that infringes copyright once we are properly notified.
Filing a DMCA takedown notice
If you are a rights holder (or authorized to act for one) and believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email a notice to [email protected] with the subject line "DMCA Notice". To be valid, your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The exact URL(s) on progressbar.gg of the material you want removed.
- Your name, address, and contact details.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens next
We aim to review valid notices and remove or disable access to the identified material as quickly as possible, typically within a few business days. We will notify the affected user where applicable.
Counter-notification
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice", including the removed material and its URL, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that the removal was a mistake or misidentification, and your signature.
Repeat infringers
Accounts or contributors that are the subject of repeated valid infringement notices may have their access terminated.
Good-faith commitment
We would rather cooperate than fight. If you represent Rockstar Games or Take-Two and have any concern about anything on this site, contact [email protected] and we will work with you promptly and in good faith.
