Short version: no, not at launch, and Rockstar has not announced a PC version at all. GTA 6 releases November 19, 2026 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S only. If you want to play on day one, you need a current-gen console.
Why no PC at launch?
It is simply how Rockstar has always launched a mainline GTA. The console versions ship first, the PC version follows once the console launch is done. Nothing about GTA 6 suggests that pattern has changed.
When is the PC version likely?
Based on Rockstar's own history: GTA V came to PC roughly 18 months after its console release. Red Dead Redemption 2 took about 13 months. Apply that to a November 2026 console launch and a PC version lands somewhere in late 2027 to 2028. That is a historical pattern, not an announcement, so treat any specific "GTA 6 PC date" you see elsewhere as speculation.
What about a PC pre-order?
There is nothing to pre-order for PC yet, because the platform has not been announced. Pre-orders that opened June 25, 2026 are for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S editions only. See our pre-order guide for the console editions.
We will update this the moment it changes
A PC announcement is one of the biggest things left on the GTA 6 calendar. This page updates the instant Rockstar confirms it. Join the waitlist to hear first, and in the meantime our full everything we know page tracks every confirmed fact.
